Sometimes, caregivers may feel a sense of isolation or a belief that they are the only ones facing the challenging tasks of caring for family or friends. The sad reality is that millions of people are thrust into the role of family caregivers, and many are unequipped to do so.
At South Shore Elder Services (SSES) we can give you the help you need through our Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP). Now you can get the support, education, and guidance you need to face the emotional, physical, and even financial challenges you face as a caregiver.
Whether you’re a full-time, part-time, or long-distance caregiver, a family member or friend you can receive FCSP caregiver services. All are free; there are no income guidelines.
The FCSP is funded in part through a grant from the Administration of Aging Title III-E of the Older Americans Act through the Executive Office of Elder Affairs and South Shore Elder Services.
